A lot of politicians say they will fight for you. I don't believe that's the right approach. Fighting as a U.S. Congressperson implies we are in a battle against the other states. Somebody loses and nobody wins. This is a union. We are stronger when we collaborate to solve common problems with mutually beneficial solutions. I won't fight for Florida, but I sure will work hard for its residents.
